Water systems, funded properly
The pumps are old. The money to replace them exists.
Baseflow supplies water treatment, pumping, metering and the connectivity that ties them together — and finds the grant and rebate funding that covers a large part of the bill. Utilities, districts, co-ops and industrial sites, on one file.
See what you qualify for→→Water infrastructure fails quietly, then all at once
A pump that has been throttled at the valve for fifteen years does not look broken. Neither does a main losing a fifth of what goes into it, or a plant running a dose rate nobody has revisited since the last operator retired.
None of that shows up as a fault. It shows up as an electricity bill, a water loss figure and, eventually, a capital request that lands on a board with no money set aside for it. By then the options are worse and more expensive.
We are on the other side of that: we specify the equipment and we write the funding applications, on one file, so the rating that wins the award is the rating that arrives on the truck. When those two drift apart, the award can be cut after the money has already been spent.
Four areas, one funding process
Treatment, pumping and metering are usually one project and one application. The fourth is what lets the first three report from places nobody visits.

Water Treatment
Filtration, disinfection and dosing, from packaged skids to plant upgrades.

Metering & Monitoring
Flow, pressure and quality instrumentation, with the telemetry to act on it.

Commercial 5G for the sites where none of the above can phone home.

The order matters. Systems that order equipment first and look for funding afterwards usually find the purchase has already disqualified them.
-
Identify funding opportunities
State revolving funds, USDA programs and utility rebates open to your system.
-
Determine eligibility
Whether the system is public, private, investor-owned or industrial.
-
Application support
The metered baseline that makes the saving defensible.
-
Qualifying equipment
Equipment specified to the program threshold, not to the catalogue.
-
Project implementation
Delivery, installation and commissioning around your shutdown window.
Serving utilities, districts and industrial sites
Figures below are from completed projects. Where a number is still provisional it is marked as such rather than rounded up.

Real projects, real awards
Three systems where the funding covered a meaningful share of the work. Names withheld at the customers' request; the numbers are from the award letters.
What a funded project looks like
- A pump station that replaced three failing units and added metering, part-funded through a state revolving fund
- A small district that cut treated-water losses after leak detection paid for itself inside a year
- A rural system that rebuilt its disinfection train with a USDA grant covering a share of the cost
- A remote wellfield that added 5G telemetry after two months of manual readings and one missed alarm
Trusted where the paperwork matters
They told us two of the three programs we were chasing were a waste of time, which nobody selling pumps had ever done before. The one that was left paid for the drives and half the units.
The application was the part we had been putting off for two years. They metered the system first, then wrote it, and the numbers held up when the state asked.
What mattered was that the equipment on the invoice was the equipment on the award. Our previous supplier substituted a model and we lost the rebate.
